People Photographed by Robert Cobcroft
Photographing people was never on the radar for Robert Cobcroft. In 1988 when he left behind a career racing bicycles for Australia and European teams, Cobcroft picked up a camera and began photographing landscapes. Returning to Australia the first job he landed was in a professional photography lab processing film for portrait photographers. Attending Queensland College of Art the following year, he began shooting portraits for folios and forgot about landscapes. Portrait exhibitions followed and throughout the past three decades Cobcroft’s work has been shown and published internationally.
The images in this gallery are sourced from creative projects where the goal has been to produce portrait photography for exhibitions, photographic awards, and publications.
